Abstract:
[Problem] With respect to a power tool which uses a motor as a drive source and is configured to carry out a preset operation to completion as one cycle when an operator performs a manual operation thereon, the purpose of the invention is to provide a feature which enables more efficient radiation of heat generated by the motor. [Solution] A nail gun (1) is equipped with a trigger (131), a motor (2), a driving mechanism (3), a controller (4), a crank housing (320), and a heat transfer member (5). The controller (4) starts driving the motor (2) in response to a pressing operation of the trigger (131) by an operator and stops driving of the motor (2) when one cycle of nailing by the driving mechanism (3) is completed. The heat transfer member (5) is configured so as to form a heat-transfer path different from a power-transmission path extending from the motor (2) to the driving mechanism (3) so as to allow heat generated by the motor (2) to be released to the crank housing (320), which is made of a metal.
