Abstract:
This power tool (1) comprises a motor unit (4) having a motor, a driving block (5) which transmits the rotational output of the motor to a tip tool, and a rotation detection unit (12) which detects the angle of rotation of the motor. The rotation detection unit (12) has a rotor (20) which is mounted to a motor shaft (9b), and a position detection unit (30) which outputs a rotational position signal according to the rotational position of the rotor (20). The rotor (20) has an opening, and the motor shaft (9b) is fitted by press-fitting into the opening of the rotor (20).
