Abstract:
Provided is a power tool that has a short distance between a tip tool and section gripped by a worker and improves workability. The power tool (1) has: a motor housing (20) that houses a motor having a stator and a rotor; a tip tool (40) connected to an output shaft (16) that rotates integrally with the rotor; and a grip (2b) that extends from the motor housing (20) in a direction that intersects the output shaft. The thickness (diameter RH) of the grip (2b) is configured so as to be smaller than the diameter Dm of a section housing the motor in the motor housing (20) and the axial direction length LC of the stator core is configured to be larger than the radius (= diameter Dm/2).
