Abstract:
Provided is a power transmission apparatus which is equipped with a centrifugal pendulum damper, and which is capable of effectively suppressing torque fluctuation and vehicle vibration noise while avoiding deterioration in reliability caused by enlargement and high-speed rotation of the centrifugal pendulum damper. A power transmission apparatus (10) equipped with a centrifugal pendulum damper has a centrifugal pendulum damper (13) coupled to an input shaft (9) via a speed increasing mechanism (12) for increasing the speed of rotation of the input shaft (9). The power transmission apparatus (10) is characterized by comprising a disconnection mechanism (14) capable of disconnecting power transmission from the input shaft (9) to the centrifugal pendulum damper (13).
