Abstract:
Provided is a power transmission cable enabling excellent cable end preparation. The power transmission cable 1 is provided with a conductor 10, an insulating layer 12 provided to the outer periphery of the conductor 10, and an external semiconductive layer 13 provided to the outer periphery of the insulating layer 12. The insulating layer 12 comprises an insulating resin composition that includes, as a base resin, a peroxide-crosslinked ethylene propylene rubber, and the external semiconductive layer 13 comprises a semiconductive resin composition that includes, as a base resin, a resin which has different polarity from that of the ethylene propylene rubber and which is crosslinked with a crosslinking agent having a different crosslinking system from that of peroxide.
