Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/085673
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A power transmission chain (1) is provided with a plurality of link units (51, 52, 53) juxtaposed in the direction of travel (X) of the chain, each of the link units (51, 52, 53) including a plurality of links (2) juxtaposed in the widthwise direction (W) of the chain. Guide members (12, 13) are respectively associated with connecting members (50) which flexibly connect the link units (51, 52, 53). Each link (2) includes first and second through-holes (7, 8) juxtaposed in the direction of travel of the chain and having the corresponding connecting members (50) inserted therethrough, and communication holes (14) establishing communication between the first and second through-hole (7, 8). Each connecting member (50) includes first and second power transmission members (3, 4).
