Abstract:
This power transmission device for wirelessly transmitting power to a power-receiving device performs detection processing for detecting an object which is different from the power-receiving device by using power loss when wirelessly transmitting power, obtains, from the power-receiving device, reference value information pertaining to a reference value for the received power to be used in order to obtain the power loss, and when a prescribed interval of time from a prescribed timing related to the timing at which the information is obtained from the power-receiving device after obtaining the power loss elapses without successfully obtaining effective reference value information, performs a prescribed control so as not to increase the power transmission output regardless of the received power received by the power-receiving device.
