Abstract:
Provided is a power transmission device (200) comprising a clutch device (100) and a control unit (109). The clutch device (100) comprises: an input member (2); an output member (1); a transmission member (3); and a holding member (5). The input member (2) and the output member (1) are both rotatable, and are disposed with a gap therebetween in the radial direction. The transmission member (3) is disposed between the input member (2) and the output member (1) in the radial direction, and can be in an engaged state for transmitting torque between the input member (2) and the output member (1) or a non-engaged state for interrupting torque. The holding member (5) holds the transmission member (3) between the input member (2) and the holding member (5). The state of the transmission member (3) transitions between the engaged state and the non-engaged state depending on inertial force of the holding member (5). The control unit (109) has a first control mode for controlling torque to be input to the input member (2) such that the transmission member (3) transitions from the non-engaged state to the engaged state.
