Abstract:
A power transmission device equipped with: an alternating current power supply having a DC/AC conversion unit; a primary-side coil; and a control unit. The power transmission device also is equipped with a voltage zero-cross detection circuit, a current zero-cross detection circuit, and a phase difference detection unit. When a phase difference is detected by the phase difference detection unit, the control unit performs power reduction control wherein the output power from the DC/AC conversion unit is reduced. The power reduction control has an advanced phase power reduction mode for when an advanced phase is detected by the phase difference detection unit, and a retarded phase power reduction mode for when a retarded phase is detected by the phase difference detection unit. The power reduction amount in the retarded phase power reduction mode is set so as to be less than the power reduction amount in the advanced phase power reduction mode.
