Abstract:
A power transmission device (39) is provided with: a clutch outer (56); a clutch hub (57); an active gear (52) linked to the clutch hub (57), the active gear (52) having a first engaging protrusion (84); a driven gear (51) coaxially supported by the active gear (52) so as to be capable of being axially displaced, the driven gear (51) having a second engaging protrusion (85) engaging with the first engaging protrusion (84) upon moving in the axial direction from an axial-direction reference position to an operation position; and a friction damper (112) interposed between the clutch outer (56) and the clutch hub (57). It is thereby possible to provide a power transmission device with which it is possible to smoothly establish a coupling state between the first engaging protrusion of a drive gear and the second engaging protrusion of a shifter using a simple structure.
