Abstract:
This power transmission device outputs torque to wheels from a first power source and a second power source, and comprises: a first shaft which is coupled to the first power source; a differential which differentially distributes the torque to the wheels; a first gear set which drivingly couples the first shaft to the differential; a second shaft which is coupled to the second power source; a second gear set which is drivingly coupled to the second shaft; a clutch which receives fluid pressure and drivingly couples the second gear set to the first gear set in a manner in which disconnection is possible; and a pump which is driven by at least the first power source and a third power source independent from the clutch, generates the aforementioned fluid pressure, is disposed set apart from the clutch, and is in fluid connection with the clutch to which the fluid pressure is to be supplied.
