Abstract:
This power transmission device transmits power for rotating a driven body (161) from a drive belt (18) to the driven body. The power transmission device is provided with a pulley (20) and a torque limiter (24). A drive belt is wound on the pulley, and the pulley is rotationally driven by the drive belt. The torque limiter is provided in a power transmission path between the pulley and the driven body. In the torque limiter, slippage occurs when a transmission torque (Tr) transmitted from the pulley to the driven body equals or exceeds a predetermined torque threshold. In addition, slippage occurs in the torque limiter when the transmission torque momentarily increases while a rotatable state of the driven body is maintained, and the slippage disappears when the momentary increase in transmission torque is resolved.
