Abstract:
The present invention has: a baffle plate (4) that includes a main body part (5), cover parts (8, 9), and seal members (88, 98); a final gear (25) and a driven sprocket (DS) arranged inside storage compartments (Sa, Sb) of the baffle plate (4); an oil pump (OP) serving as a supply source for a lubricating oil (OL); and an oil pan (16). At least one component among the main body part (5), the cover parts (8, 9), and the seal members (88, 98) includes a material that contracts as the temperature of the oil (OL) decreases. The dimensions of the baffle plate (4) are set such that when the temperature of the oil (OL) is equal to or greater than a prescribed oil temperature, clearances (CL1, CL2) are sealed by the seal members (88, 98), and when the temperature of the oil is less than the prescribed oil temperature, a clearance (CL') is formed. The clearances (CL1, CL2) are clearances between an inner periphery of outer wall sections (62, 72) of the main body part (5), and a base section (80) of the cover part (8) and a base section (90) of the cover part (9).
