Abstract:
A tensile core wire, which is included in an overhead earth wire or a central tensile member of a power transmission line, is formed of a zinc-clad carbon fiber filament composite wire material, wherein the composite wire material is manufactured by: a) a preparation step of preparing a plurality of hank frames on which a first carbon fiber yarn bundle to be formed into a core wire of a zinc-clad carbon fiber filament composite wire material with a first diameter is wound; b) a filament processing step of separating the first carbon fiber yarn bundle into first carbon fiber filament strands; c) a zinc cladding step of performing zinc cladding by penetration of the first carbon fiber filament strands, separated in the filament processing step, into molten zinc in a zinc molten bath; and d) a core wire forming step of forming a tensile core wire of a specific standard by passing the zinc-clad first carbon fiber filament strands through a die molding apparatus with a die hole of a specific standard.
