Provided is a propeller shaft wherein: a crowning section of a male spline part is disposed, in the axial direction, in a prescribed range that contains a front end part; and a tooth crest surface has a shape such that the tooth thickness gradually increases from the front end part toward an axial-direction intermediate part in the male spline part.
