POWER TRANSMISSION STRUCTURE FOR ENHANCING STEERING CHARACTERISTICS OF TRACKED VEHICLE

Abstract:
In order to steer a tracked vehicle, the vehicle is driven while having the rotation of a left or right wheel stopped and only one track in a running state. Therefore, for the steering, apparatuses for controlling power should be provided on the left and right sides, respectively, and there are disadvantages such as track derailment of the vehicle or loss of power due to severe lateral resistance of vehicle tracks. The objective of the present invention is to solve said problems by means of the fundamentals of a differential gear. That is, provided is a power transmission structure, for enhancing the steering characteristics of a tracked vehicle, comprising: a left-wheel power transmission gear (200) and a right-wheel power input gear (210) for receiving the transmission of power of an engine from a power transmission shaft; a left-wheel power input clutch gear (320) and a right-wheel power input clutch gear (420) for receiving the transmission of power from the left- and right-wheel power transmission gears; a left-wheel synchronizer (310) and a right-wheel synchronizer (410) for controlling and transmitting the power from the left- and right-wheel power input clutch gears to a left-wheel power output shaft (300) and a right-wheel power output shaft (400), respectively; a left-wheel power output shaft connection bevel gear (330) and a right-wheel power output shaft connection bevel gear (430) provided inside a differential gear box with the left-wheel power output shaft (300) and the right-wheel power output shaft (400), respectively; a bevel gear 1 (510) and a bevel gear 2 (520) connected in the forward-backward direction to the left-wheel power output shaft connection bevel gear (330) and the right-wheel power output shaft connection bevel gear (430) inside the differential gear box; and a differential gear box brake (530) for controlling the rotation of the differential gear box. By means of said configuration, the present invention provides a means for controlling left and right powers to wheel shafts transmitting power to track wheels from one power source (engine, motor and the like), and thus provides a power transmission structure facilitating the steering of the tracked vehicle.
