Abstract:
According to the present invention, a power transmitting device (101) is provided with an inverter circuit (110) that supplies AC power, a coil (L1) to which the AC power is supplied from the inverter circuit (110), and which is magnetically coupled to a coil (L2) of a power receiving device (201), and a current detecting unit (112) that detects a current flowing through the coil (L1). The coil (L1) comprises coils (L11, L12) connected in series. The current detecting unit (112) is provided in series between the coils (L11, L12). Hence, the power transmitting device and the power receiving device, and a power transmission system including the same are provided for detecting current without using a high-voltage resistant detection device.
