Abstract:
A powerless electric locking device includes at least a portable devices (10) and many sets of electric locks (20). One electric lock (20) is provided in each of file cabinets, each electric lock (20) possesses different identification code, identification code corresponding to the code in the lock (20)is provided in a database (30). A control method of the powerless electric locking device includes the following steps: the portable device (10) gets corresponding identification code from the database (30), then contacts or noncontacts the electric lock (20) in the file cabinet and supplies power to the electric lock (20), finally the portable device (10) transmits the stored identification code to the electric lock (20). The electric lock (20) will be opened if the identification code in the portable device (10) is identical to which in the electric lock (20). The electric lock is normally powerless and can reduce the electric energy consumption.
