Title:
PRE-ENGINEERED BUILDING SYSTEM AND END-PLATE JOINT REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE USING TENDON THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/217055
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed are a pre-engineered building system (PEB) and an end-plate joint reinforcement structure using the tendon thereof. A pre-engineered building system (PEB) according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a PEB column member; a plurality of PEB rafter members supported by the PEB column member; first end-plates formed at first joints between the PEB column member and the PEB rafter members and coupled to each other; second end-plates formed at second joints between the plurality of PEB rafter members and coupled to each other; a first reinforcement member formed in the upper portion of each of the first joints and connecting a steel wire between the PEB column member and each of the PEB rafter members so as to reinforce the flexural strength of the corresponding first joint by applying a tensile force thereto; and a second reinforcement member formed in the lower portion of each of the second joints and connecting a steel wire between each of the plurality of PEB rafter members so as to reinforce the flexural strength of the corresponding second joint by applying a tensile force thereto. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the strength of a PEB end-plate joint can be economically reinforced without excessively increasing the size of the PEB end-plate.
