Abstract:
As a vital ventilation channel of a long highway tunnel, the shaft channel plays a vital role in regulating air pressure, ventilation and disaster prevention and rescue. Although there are relatively mature technologies in mining and hydropower industries at home and abroad, the research on shaft construction mainly focuses on improving the mechanisation of shaft construction and how to improve the number of monthly driving meters. However, there is less research on the mechanical characteristics of deep shaft construction of long and deep buried highway tunnels. A Precast Diamond Framed Lining Structure (PDFSL)was invented based on simulations and analyses of Huayingshan tunnel shaft with interlacing surrounding rock grades. This innovation is adopted if there is a need to minimise construction cost, shorten the projection construction period, maintain quality work, reduce environmental impacts and local disruption.
