Abstract:
A remote control (100) receives data on the degree of crowdedness from a building management system (400) through a remote control transmitting/receiving unit (12), and transmits the received degree of crowdedness data to an indoor unit controller (20). The indoor controller (20) takes into account the degree of crowdedness and controls an indoor unit (200) and an outdoor unit (300) to a level suitable for the received degree of crowdedness and the indoor temperature. The indoor controller (20) receives a compressor operating current value from an outdoor unit controller (30) to determine whether a "weak operation", a "normal operation", or a "strong operation" is underway according to the received compressor operating current value, compares an indoor temperature sensed by an indoor temperature sensing unit (22) with an indoor set temperature input in the remote control (100), and performs controlling to drive the compressor in the "strong operation" when there is a difference exceeding a threshold. Here, a current indoor "degree of crowdedness" is received from the building management system (400), the current indoor "degree of crowdedness" is added to the value of the difference between the compared indoor set temperature and the indoor temperature, and controlling may be performed to drive a compressor of the outdoor unit (300). Thus, the compressor driving current is changed according to the difference between the indoor set temperature and the indoor temperature in order to drive the compressor to enable more precise controlling, and the density of people indoors is measured when there are many people indoors, so as to reflect the measured density in the air conditioning of the indoors.
