Abstract:
Disclosed is a precoat solution for an underlayer for a photocatalyst layer, which enables the production of an underlayer having high barrier properties against the diffusion of an active oxygen species produced by the action of a photocatalytic activity and does not undergo the deterioration in adhesion to an organic base material. The precoat solution for an underlayer for a photocatalyst layer can be used for an underlayer that is used for forming a photocatalyst layer on the surface of the organic base material or on the surface of an inorganic layer formed on the organic base material for the purpose of forming the photocatalyst layer on the surface of the organic base material. The precoat solution comprises at least a clay compound and a metal alkoxide compound.
