Abstract:
The present application provides a precoding indication method and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: a terminal device receives first information from a network device, wherein the first information comprises first indication information used for indicating first precoding and second indication information used for indicating a transport layer quantity, in the case that the transport layer quantity belongs to a first layer quantity set, the first information comprises third indication information, and the third indication information is used for indicating a coherent feature of precoding of uplink data; the terminal device determines second precoding according to the first information; the terminal device sends the uplink data to the network device, wherein the precoding used by the uplink data is the second precoding. The flexibility of indicating precoding of uplink data is improved, the adaptability to a greater number of transmitting antenna ports of uplink data can be realized, and the transmission efficiency of uplink data is improved.
