Abstract:
Disclosed is a predictive maintenance method for machine tools comprising: a first base information collecting step of collecting information about a change in the amount of current consumed in a machine over time in a process of processing a workpiece in a state where a tool of the machine is in a normal state, wherein the information is separately collected from each of an inflow section where the tool engages with the workpiece, a constant speed section where the tool processes the workpiece, and an outflow section where the tool withdraws from the workpiece and returns; a second base information collecting step of collecting information about a change in the amount of current consumed in the machine over time in a process of processing the workpiece in a state where the tool of the machine is worn, wherein the information is separately collected from each of the inflow section where the tool engages with the workpiece, the constant speed section where the tool processes the workpiece, and the outflow section where the tool withdraws from the workpiece and returns; a setting step of setting first threshold values for each of the inflow section, the constant speed section, and the outflow section on the basis of the information collected in the first base information collecting step and the second base information collecting step; and a detecting step of separately collecting information about a change in the amount of current consumed in the machine over time in a process of processing the workpiece by using the tool of the machine from each of the inflow section where the tool engages with the workpiece, the constant speed section where the tool processes the workpiece, and the outflow section where the tool withdraws from the workpiece and returns, and detecting an inspection state in which maintenance or replacement of the tool of the machine is required, if current values of the inflow section, constant speed section and outflow section exceed the first threshold values of the inflow section, constant speed section and outflow section set in the setting step.
