Abstract:
The present invention relates to a predictive new product development method. The present invention comprises: a step in which a differentiation index calculating unit calculates a new product differentiation index (PDI) by calculating a consumer satisfaction coefficient for each attribute of a new product and a differentiation degree of each attribute; a step in which a demand creation index calculating unit calculates a demand creation index (DCI) through a relative ratio of sales created by the new product to an existing product; a step in which a demand prediction model constructing unit constructs a demand prediction model through Gaussian process regression performed on the calculated new product differentiation index (PDI) and the demand creation index (DCI); and a step in which an optimal profile deriving unit derives a new product optimal profile by using the demand prediction model.
