Abstract:
The present invention relates to a predictive traffic light for an intersection for preventing accidents, which may indicate when a green traffic light will change to a different color at the intersection to eradicate instances of drivers accelerating when entering the intersection and vehicles that tailgate them. The predictive traffic light, which includes a control unit for controlling each light for road traffic signals, comprises a body on which a red light represents a stop signal, a yellow light is an intermediate signal, a turn signal light, and a green light that allows passage are indicated, wherein the green light of the body includes LEDs arranged in a plurality of concentric circles and an indicating plate arranged at the center of the arranged LEDs to indicate the countdown time related to when the green light will turn off so that drivers may be informed of how much longer the green light will be on.
