Description:
PREFABRICATED BASE ELEMENT FOR A COVERED PARKING PLACE

The invention belongs to building, in particular to building constructions, namely to small garages or parking place, which are intended for parking either a single vehicle or many vehicles.

The purpose of the invention is to conceive a prefabricated element of an erecting parking place, which should be resistant against corrosion and weather conditions and should in particular enable mounting of an appropriate roofing construction in situ i.e. by means of placing directly onto a plain ground without digging and forming a base or performing any other construction works prior to that, while on the other hand such object should also be easily removable or displaceable, when required, upon which the ground might be easily re-established into its original state.

Prefabricated elements are described in JP 2004257045 A, which enable setting-up a skeleton roofing construction above a parking place. Such elements are set vertically, and the cross-section hereof in the horizontal plane corresponds to letter T, while the interconnection between them is then established by means of horizontal beams, through which then appropriate load capacity and stability are obtained. However, said elements must be rest onto a stable ground, regularly onto an appropriate base, which means, that corresponding construction works need to be performed prior to that.

Furthermore, a parking device is described in JP 2002038745 A, which includes a roofing, consisting of a metallic platform, to which vertical beams are attached, on which horizontal purlins are rest, above which appropriate roofing plates or tiles are then placed. Such construction is relatively simple and available either in an uniform embodiment or may also be assembled on the spot. Said platform might be generally placed directly on the ground, but in such case it would need to be extremely rigid and heavy, and would moreover be exposed to corrosion due to permanent loading and contact with the ground. It is therefore assumed, that either a concrete plate or appropriate concrete base must be prepared prior to placing the platform on the ground. Despite to that the platform is still further exposed to the corrosion, although at least the major portion thereof is covered by its roofing. When raining, the water including the salt water during the winter time, may namely flow onto said platform even from the car, which is parked thereon.

Still further, an erecting roofing is described in SI 21374, which consists of roofing beams, which are each per se screwed onto a prefabricated base, which needs to be embedded into ground prior to setting-up such roofing. The proposed solution actually enables simple arranging of one or more covered parking boxes including

with the possibility of removing thereof and re-establishing the ground into the original state. However, in order to enable embedding of each particular prefabricated base a pretty cavity must be prepared, which is connected not only with digging, but also with loading and transporting of huge quantity of material, which takes time and money, and sometimes even with waiting for appropriate weather conditions. When the object is then removed or displaced, the base may also be removed and displaced, whereupon the original state of the terrain may generally be established, however normally only by filling up the cavity with the material and normally also by transporting the required material prior to that.

The present invention relates to a prefabricated element, which is adapted for receipt of a cantilevered roofing beam, equipped with corresponding roofing elements, especially roofing laths and plates. According to the invention, such element is a prefabricated uniform plate-like reinforced concrete element, which is adapted (without grounding or any other extensive construction works) for placing directly onto the ground, and the major portion of its top surface, which is faced away from the ground, represents a parking area, while the residual connecting portion includes anchors for mounting a cantilevered roofing beam onto the element.

Furthermore, such element comprises a trough on its top surface, which is faced away from the ground. The trough is arranged between the mounting portion and the belonging transversal edge of the element, and preferably extends parallel with respect to the transversal edge of the mounting portion of the element. In addition, the element preferably comprises graduated longitudinal edges, which are step-like expanded towards the ground and preferably extend parallel to each other.

Still further, the element is adapted to co-operate with an intermediate element, which may be placed between each neighboring appropriately displaced elements, and is at least essentially co-planar with respect to these elements.

Each anchor, which is incorporated within the mounting portion thereof, is a threaded anchor, which is intended for screwing the beam to the element. Besides, the thickness thereof in the mounting portion is preferably greater than its thickness in the parking area.

The invention will now be described in more detail on the basis of an embodiment, which is shown in the accompanied drawing, where Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a prefabricated element of a covered parking box during the use thereof.

Prefabricated element 1 according to the invention is conceived as a concrete plate-like element, which is adapted for being interconnected with at least one cantilevered beam 2. The element generally consists of a parking area 11, which extends along the major portion of the top surface of the element 1, which is faced away from the ground P, as well as of a mounting portion 12, which is normally an end portion of the element 1.

Prefabricated element according to the invention includes, in addition to a common steel reinforcement /not shown/, appropriate anchors 13, which are incorporated within the element 1 and arranged in the mounting portion 12 and serve for interconnection of the element 1 with each belonging beam 2. Each anchor 13 preferably includes a thread, so that the beam 2 is then screwed to the element 1 , and on such basis also mounting of beams 2 is essentially simplified.

Furthermore, the element 1 preferably includes a trough 14, which is arranged adjacent to said mounting portion 12 and extends parallel to the belonging transversal edge 15 of the element 1. Longitudinal edges 16, 17 of the element 1 are preferably graduated, namely step-like expanded towards the ground P, which may result in various benefits. Such form of the longitudinal edges 16, 17 namely enables either paving or asphalting of the ground in the area adjacent to the element 1, or placing an intermediate element 3 between two neighboring elements 1, which are correspondingly displaced apart one from another. Such intermediate element 3 may then serve either for straightening of the terrain between each neighboring elements 1, or also for the purposes of mounting various requisites or devices like e.g. of a requisite for preventing undesired parking from the side of third parties (Fig. 1). Thanks to construction concept of the element 1, either a single or multiple parking box may then be arranged very quickly and simply. Prefabricated element 1 with included steel reinforcement and anchors 13 needs to be simply placed onto the ground, whereupon the cantilevered beam 2 is screwed thereon, after which the roofing laths and plates are attached thereto on the spot, upon which the drainage water is already collected within the trough 14, which available on the element 1. Such parking place is regularly obtained by means of at least two correspondingly displaced elements 1, where a cantilevered beam 2 is attached to each belonging element 1, or even more elements may also be foreseen in order to form such parking surface. Longitudinal edges 16, 17 of each two neighboring elements 1 preferably extend parallel to each other, which is however not compulsory. Whenever the elements 1 are displaced apart from each other, the intermediate terrain may either be completed with prefabricated intermediate elements 3, or also by means of paving or asphalting, or may also be arranged in a functional and/or aesthetic manner by means of any other measures.
