FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The prefabricated wall-mountable cover box belongs in the field of building structures and is used to cover external parts of air conditioning appliances. BACKROUND OF INVENTION
Known is a prefabricated wall-mountable box for covering external parts of air conditioning appliances, which consists of a cuboid housing, a sloping roof on a base frame, with the slope outwards away from the wall, whereas the prefabricated cuboid box housing is composed of a rectangular latticed front panel, two rectangular latticed side panels, upper and lower fixing bars replacing the rear panel and two support boards inside the housing that stabilise the right angle position of the joints of the front panel and both side panels. The support boards are slightly shorter than the height of the side panel and their ends support the lower part of the sloping roof along with the base frame. The rectangular base frame of the roof is composed of two tapering cross beams and two longitudinal beams connecting the ends of cross beams, to which lining boards are fixed crosswise. The sloping roof is fixed to the front panel with wood screws whereas the higher part of the sloping roof is supported against the inner side of the upper fixing bar and fixed with wood screws. The cover box is placed on two wall-mounted angle brackets with adjustment slots, whereas one of the angle brackets is fixed to the wall in the spot where the upper fixing bar of the cover box is positioned and the other angle bracket in the spot where the lower fixing bar of the cover box is positioned. The upper fixing bar of the cover box is supported between the rollers fixed to the adjustment slot of the upper angle bracket and the lower fixing bar is supported between the rollers fixed to the adjustment slot of the lower angle bracket.
The known cover box is material and labour intensive because it contains a supporting board that stabilises the joint between the front panel and both side panels, and a sloping roof. The angle brackets with rollers used as fixing elements for the cover box make the installation of the cover box labour intensive, because the roller bolts have to be unfastened and the rollers have to be moved to a suitable distance from each other before installation of the cover box and the rollers have to be pushed against the fixing bar of the cover box on both sides and the bolts fastened after installation of the cover box on the brackets. The connections of roof lining boards of the known cover box collect water, humidity and dirt.
SUBJECT MATTER OF THE INVENTION
The objective of this solution is a prefabricated wall-mountable cover box that has a small number of details, uses little material, can be easily assembled and readily mounted on and dismounted from fixing elements, moved towards or away from the wall when mounted on fixing elements, and the roof of which has a simple structure and is better protected against humidity and dirt.
In order to achieve this objective, a wall-mountable cover box is deployed, the roof of which has a base frame composed of three equal length cross beams and a longitudinal beam connecting the front ends of the cross beams; the roof base frame is made so that the external dimensions of the base frame are a little smaller than the internal dimensions of the opening of the cover box housing; boards fixed to the base frame are longitudinally placed on the roof base frame so that the edge of one board covers the edge of the next board while the roof, composed of boards, extends over the base frame on four sides; in order to ensure the slope of the wall-mountable cover box away from the wall, the latticed panels of the cover box are executed as trapezoids and connected to form the housing of the cover box so that the longer side edge of the latticed side panel is connected to the lower and upper fixing bars replacing the rear panel and the shorter side edge of the side panel is connected to the side edge of the rectangular latticed front panel while the roof placed on the housing of the cover box is supported on the upper edge of the cover box housing, using the part extending over the roof base frame, whereas the base frame is fitted in the upper part of the cover box housing and fixed to the side panels and the upper fixing bar of the cover box with wood screws.
As it has to be possible to easily place the cover box and readily mount it on and dismount it from fixing elements as well as to move a cover box installed on fixing elements higher or lower, closer to or away from the wall, the cover box can only be used with corresponding fixing elements.
The fixing element deployed to fix the cover box to the wall contains a U- form fixing element fitted in the adjustment slot of the longer end of the angle bracket equipped with adjustment slots, the width of which corresponds to the thickness of the cover box fixing bar and the depth of which is 1/3...1/2 of the width of the fixing bar. The U-form fixing element has a shank, through which extends a bolt inserted through the adjustment slot located in the longer end of the angle bracket and due to which the U-form fixing element can be moved horizontally.

EXAMPLARY EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION The prefabricated wall-mountable cover box (Fig 1 to Fig 4) consists of a prefabricated housing 1 and a flat roof 2, whereas the prefabricated housing 1 is composed of a rectangular latticed front panel 1.1, two latticed side panels 1.2 and two fixing bars 1.3, which form the rear wall of the housing 1 ; in order to give the roof 2 the necessary slope outwards away from the wall, the latticed side panels 1.2 are executed as trapezoids whereas the longer side edges 1.2.1 of the latticed trapezoidal side panels 1.2 are connected to the ends of the upper fixing bar 1.3 and the lower fixing bar 1.3 and the shorter side edges 1.2.2 to the side edges of the rectangular latticed front panel 1.1. The rectangular latticed front panel 1.1, two latticed trapezoidal side panels 1.2, the upper fixing bar 1.3 and the lower fixing bar 1.3 are assembled with wood screws to form the housing 1 of the cover box. The upper fixing bar 1.3 of the wall-mounted cover box is supported on U-form fixing elements 3.1, which are fixed to two angle brackets 3 equipped with adjustment slots. The U-form fixing element 3.1 is equipped with a shank 3.1.1, a bolt 3.1.2 inserted through the shank 3.1.1 and the adjustment slot in the longer end of the angle bracket 3, due to which the U-form fixing element 3.1 can be moved towards or away from the wall. The width of the U-form fixing element 3.1 corresponds to the thickness of the cover box upper fixing bar 1.3 and its depth to 1/3...1/2 of the width of the upper fixing bar 1.3.
As the shorter end of the angle bracket 3 fixed to the wall with a screw is equipped with a slot, it is possible to move the angle bracket 3 vertically to a limited extent.
In order to keep the lower part of the cover box at a prescribed distance from the wall, two long-thread bolts 4 are inserted through the lower fixing bar 1.3 of the cover box, with their heads resting against the wall. The distance of the lower part of the cover box from the wall can be adjusted by fastening and loosening the nuts of the bolts 4.
Due to the U-form fixing elements, which are fitted on angle brackets 3 and support the upper cover box fixing bar 1.3, and the threaded bolts 4, which have been inserted through the lower cover box fixing bar 1.3 and the heads of which are supported against the wall, the installation of the cover box on fixing elements and its removal from fixing elements is simple; it is easy to adjust the position of the cover box so that sufficient space is left between the housing 1 of the cover box and the wall in order to ensure free movement of air between the wall and the housing 1 of the cover box.
The base frame of the flat roof 2 of the cover box is composed of three equal width cross beams 2.1 and a longitudinal beam 2.2 connecting the front ends of cross beams 2.1, whereas the base frame of the roof is made so that the external dimensions of the base frame are a little smaller than the internal dimensions of the opening of the cover box housing 1; the boards 2.3 fixed to the base frame of the roof 2 are placed longitudinally on the base frame so that the edge of one board 2.3 covers the edge of the next board 2.3 and the boards 2.3 extend over the base frame on four sides. The flat roof 2, which is placed on the prefabricated housing 1 of the cover box and which has acquired a necessary slope outwards away from the wall due to the trapezoidal side panels 1.2, is supported on the upper edge of the cover box housing 1 , using the part extending over the base frame of the roof 2, whereas the base frame of the roof 2 is fitted inside the upper part of the cover box housing 1 and fixed to both of the trapezoidal latticed side panels 1.2 and the upper fixing bar 1.3 with wood screws.
