Abstract:
A prefilled syringe which has high heat resistance and is reduced in adsorption, moisture permeation, and oxygen permeation. The prefilled syringe has at least a barrel and a connecting part each made of a resin which comprises a polyester resin comprising diol units 1-30 mol% of which are accounted for by ones having a cyclic acetal skeleton and dicarboxylic acid units at least 70 mol% of which are accounted for by ones having a naphthalene skeleton, the polyester resin satisfying the following requirements (i) to (iii): (i) to have a glass transition temperature as measured with a differential scanning calorimeter of 110°C or higher; (ii) to have a coefficient of moisture permeability of 1 g mm/m2/day or lower; and (iii) to have a coefficient of oxygen permeability of 10 cc mm/m2/day/atm or lower.
