Abstract:
Provided is an opening crystallization method that shortens crystallization time while preventing overheating of an opening. The method for crystallizing the opening of a preform, which has an opening (101), a body (102) and a bottom (103), contains: a step for inserting a core (110) into the opening; a step for heating the opening, accomplished by conveying the preform, with the core inserted into the opening, while the preform is rotated about its own axis and heated by means of heater groups positioned along the direction in which the preform is conveyed; and a step for cooling the opening of the preform in a state where the core is inserted therein. The heating step includes a first step, wherein a first heater group (200-1) located on the upstream side in the conveying direction operates at a first power level, and a second step, wherein a second heater group (200-2), which is located on the downstream side of the first heater group and which operates at a lower power level than the first power level, heats the opening until it reaches the crystallization temperature zone.
