Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a preform temperature adjustment device and a temperature adjustment method, with which temperature adjustment of a preform can be achieved by automatically changing, in response to voltage fluctuations of a supply power source, etc, the outputs of a heating device for heating the preform and a cooling device for cooling the atmospheric temperature of the preform. In this preform temperature adjustment device, a preform which has been injection molded is temperature treated by a heating device which heats the preform to raise the temperature of the preform or the atmospheric temperature thereof and a cooling device which cools the preform or the atmosphere thereof to reduce the temperature of the preform or the atmospheric temperature thereof so as to adjust the temperature of the preform, and then the temperature-adjusted preform is sent to a blow molding step, wherein the preform temperature adjustment device is characterized in that the cooling device and the heating device are each driven by being supplied with electricity at a prescribed voltage from the supply power source, and the cooling device and the heating device are provided with: a monitoring device that constantly monitors fluctuations in the prescribed voltage; and an output automatic control mechanism that, if the prescribed voltage monitored by the monitoring device fluctuates beyond a normal range, automatically changes the output of the heating device and/or the cooling device so that the output falls within a fixed range, thereby making adjustments such that the temperature of the preform and/or the atmospheric temperature thereof falls within a normal temperature range.
