Provided is a method for weight detection device comprising: reflecting predetermined wavelength reflected microwaves in each emission direction after encountering the object to be measured in each emission direction, the reflecting microwaves (S10); according to the currently measured reflecting microwaves being reflected and to the reception time, calculating the current distance from the current measured object to the reflecting point where the reflecting microwaves are (S50); determining whether the current distance is inferior or not to the predetermined distance (S60); and when the current distance is inferior to the predetermined distance, preheating the accommodating zone on the weight detection device by the heater (S70). When the current distance is not superior to the predetermined distance, the heater on the weight detection device starts to preheat. When the user stands to the weight detection device during the preheating process, the user experience is improved because the user is not affected by the ambient temperature and can continue to use the weight detection device boosting and mastering the own state of health of the user.
