Abstract:
A preparation process of 6-O-benzoyl sucralose tetra-acetate, including the following steps: (1) sucrose as a starting material is regioselectively 6-O-benzoylated in DMF, using tri-carboxyl borate as complexing agent to produce 6-O-benzoyl sucrose solution; the said solution is evaporated in vacuum to remove DMF and then extracted with ethyl acetate to produce purer 6-O-benzoyl sucrose; (2) under nitrogen stream, the obtained purer 6-O-benzoyl sucrose is chlorinated with phosphoros oxychloride in DMF at lower temperature to produce 6-O-benzoyl sucralose solution; the said solution is evaporated to remove DMF and then extracted with ethyl acetate to produce purer 6-O-benzoyl sucralose; (3) the obtained purer 6-O-benzoyl sucralose is peracetylated by acetic anhydride /sodium acetate and recrystallized in toluene to produce fairly pure 6-O-benzoyl sucralose tetra-acetate.
