Abstract:
The present invention relates to preparation of an anthracene skeleton-based bimetallic catalyst, and an application thereof in solution polymerization of an olefin at high temperature. In the present invention, an anthracene skeleton is introduced, and thus, the high temperature resistance of the catalyst is improved; by changing the central metal and the skeleton structure, the steric effect and the electronic effect of the model metal catalyst can be conveniently regulated and controlled, so as to achieve different catalytic performances; the catalyst can be used for homopolymerization of ethylene to prepare high-density polyethylene, ethylene/1-octene copolymerization to prepare an polyolefin elastomer, and ethylene/norbornene copolymerization to prepare a cycloolefin copolymer. The novel anthracene skeleton-based amine metal catalyst provided in the present invention has the characteristics of simple preparation, high activity, good high temperature resistance, and good copolymerization performance, and is suitable for solution polymerization of an olefin at high temperature to prepare a polyolefin elastomer and a cycloolefin copolymer; the prepared polyolefin elastomer has a high molecular weight of up to Mw=890 kg•mol-1, and the cycloolefin copolymer has a high comonomer insertion rate of up to 45 mol%. Therefore, the anthracene skeleton-based bimetallic catalyst provided in the present invention has original innovation, and can enhance the competitiveness of China to participate in the technical market of international high-end polyolefin polymer materials.
