A preparation device for use in the partial surface modification of a work piece, comprising: a particle solution supply device which is used for supplying a nanoparticle solution to a work piece (6); an electrophoresis system, the electrophoresis system being used for providing electrophoresis so as to assist the deposition of particles in the nanoparticle solution onto a surface of the work piece (6); a movable mask which is used for covering a part of the surface of the work piece so as to achieve partial insulation treatment, the movable mask being an insulating member; a temperature control device, the temperature control device being used for changing the surface temperature of the work piece (6). Provided is a preparation device for use in the partial surface modification of a work piece; a good bonding effect may be obtained on both planar and curved work pieces by using the insulated movable mask, and the use of the movable mask may exhibit strong surface texture preparation capacity and adaptability for both planar and curved work pieces. Since the insulated movable mask may control the conductivity of the surface of the work piece, the present invention may perform hydrophilic or hydrophobic surface modification on a metal surface of a local area or a specific shape in a manner which is highly efficient, highly localized and high-quality.
