Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a preparation method for a graphite-oriented thermal interface material, comprising the following steps: mixing raw materials of the graphite-oriented thermal interface material to obtain a mixture; performing orientation processing on the mixture to obtain a lamellar mixture; freezing the lamellar mixture to obtain a frozen lamellar mixture; cutting the frozen lamellar mixture to obtain lamellar samples having a specified width and length, and performing lamination processing on the lamellar samples; processing a laminated sample in a vacuum pressurization manner, and performing slow heating during this process such that the mixture transitions from a solid state to a viscous state, thereby obtaining a compact sample preform; performing high-temperature curing treatment on the compact sample preform to obtain a cured sample; and cutting the cured sample in a direction perpendicular to the thickness of the lamellar samples to obtain the graphite-oriented thermal interface material. The graphite-oriented thermal interface material prepared by the preparation method is high in compactness and small in thermal resistance.
