Disclosed are a preparation method for preparing lactide and a reaction device. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) performing the following reaction in a reactive distillation column I: subjecting lactic acid to a preliminary polymerization reaction to obtain a first lactic acid oligomer; (2) coupling the following reaction to a reactive distillation column II and performing same: subjecting the first lactic acid oligomer to an oligomerization reaction to obtain a second lactic acid oligomer, and subjecting the second lactic acid oligomer to a first depolymerization reaction to obtain the primary product of lactide; and (3) causing the bottom liquid of the reactive distillation column II to enter a reactive distillation column III, and performing a second depolymerization reaction to obtain the lactide. Compared with the known art of the current industrial mainstream, the present application greatly simplifies the process and equipment of a two-step lactic acid method, significantly reduces equipment investments and production costs, and has outstanding economic advantages.
