Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of fluorine chemical engineering, and in particular to a preparation method for trans-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene. The preparation method for trans-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene comprises the following steps: preheating trans-2-ethoxy-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene, then mixing same with hydrogen, and reacting under the action of a catalyst to prepare trans-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene, the catalyst being composed of an aluminum-magnesium composite oxide and a group VIII transition metal. Trans-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene prepared by the preparation method of the present invention achieves a selectivity of 99%, and the reaction temperature of this preparation method is moderate, with minimal waste. The prepared trans-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene has significant application value in industries such as power, electrical appliances, and electronics.
