Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a trifluoroacetic acid synthesis process, the preparation process comprising: placing a solid catalyst in a fixed bed; using a steady-state pump to pass hydrogen peroxide through same; raising to a fixed temperature; introducing nitrogen and trifluoroethane to react with the hydrogen peroxide; and obtaining the trifluoroacetic acid final product. The preparation process for trifluoroacetic acid disclosed in the present invention uses trifluoroethane as a raw material; the preparation process is simple and the product has high purity, the product purity being ≥99% and the conversion rate being ≥95%; and the catalyst in the fixed bed can be used continually, increasing industrial efficiency.
