Abstract:
Disclosed is a prepreg which exhibits a small thermal expansion coefficient in the plane direction and high rigidity, more particularly, a prepreg prepared from both a glass cloth (A) and a resin composition which comprises a cyanate ester resin (B), a non-halogen epoxy resin (C), and an inorganic filler (D). When W and t represent respectively the weight (g/m2) and thickness (μm) of the glass cloth (A), and X and Y represent respectively the thread counts (number of threads per inch) of warp and weft of the glass cloth (A), the sum of X and Y is 150 to 240; t is 17 to 35; and the apparent density, W/t, is 1.1 to 1.5. Further, the volume content of the glass cloth (A) in the prepreg is 32 to 42%.
