The present invention relates to a prepreg which comprises a woven fabric substrate and a semi-cured product of a resin composition that is impregnated into the woven fabric substrate. The resin composition contains (A) a maleimide resin, (B) an acrylic resin and (C) a phenolic resin. The component (B) comprises at least structures represented by formula (b2) and formula (b3) among structures represented by formula (b1), formula (b2) and formula (b3), while having a weight average molecular weight within the range of from 200,000 to 850,000. Incidentally, x in formula (b1), y in formula (b2) and z in formula (b3) satisfy relational expression x:y:z (molar fractions) = 0:0.95:0.05 to 0.2:0.6:0.2 (provided that x + y + z ≤ 1, 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.2, 0.6 ≤ y ≤ 0.95 and 0.05 ≤ z ≤ 0.2). In formula (b2), R1 represents a hydrogen atom or the like; and R2 represents at least one of a glycidyl group and an epoxidized alkyl group. In formula (b3), R3 represents a hydrogen atom or the like; and R4 represents Ph (a phenyl group) or the like.
