Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a prepreg for producing a multilayer body that is suitable as a structural material, which has excellent combustion resistance, compressive strength and interlaminar fracture toughness value, while being able to be firmly combined with another structural member by means of welding; and a multilayer body. The present invention is a prepreg which contains, as components, (A) reinforcing fibers, (B) a thermosetting resin and (C) a thermoplastic resin, and which is characterized in that: component (B) contains at least one resin that is selected from among cyanate ester resins having an average cyanate equivalent weight of 220 or less, bismaleimide resins having an average maleimide equivalent weight of 210 or less and benzoxazine resins having an average oxazine equivalent weight of 300 or less; component (C) is present in the surface of the prepreg; and there are some reinforcing fibers (A) that are contained in both a resin region containing component (B) and a resin region containing component (C) by extending across the boundary surface between those resin regions.
