Abstract:

This preprocessing device is provided with a conveyance mechanism for conveying a container containing a sample before preprocessing or a sample that has been preprocessed, a preprocessing unit that is configured so as to have a port on which the container containing the sample is placed by the conveyance mechanism and to carry out preprocessing on the sample inside the container placed on the port, and a dilution unit that is configured so as to suck in a prescribed amount of the preprocessed sample from the container and to dilute the sample by supplying the sample and a dilution liquid into an empty container.
