Abstract:
Provided is a presaccharification treatment device for lignocellulosic biomass whereby a presaccharified matter is obtained, without heating, from lignocellulosic biomass that is employed as a substrate, thereby enabling cost reduction.
The presaccharification treatment device (1) comprises a treating unit (2) for mixing the lignocellulosic biomass with aqueous ammonia and then treating the thus obtained substrate mixture in the form of a wet powder to give a presaccharified matter, and an ammonia-separating unit (3) for separating ammonia from the presaccharified matter. The treating unit (2) comprises a treating tank (21) and a storage unit (25) for obtaining the presaccharified matter while storing the substrate mixture in a non-heated state for a preset period of time. The ammonia-separating unit (3) is located immediately below the storage unit (25).
