Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide storage furniture that can promote growth of plants and make the raising environment for plants excellent.
Storage furniture 1 for plant cultivation is constituted so as to include: a cabinet main body 12 wherein at least part of the wall surfaces are constituted of wood; trays 34 placed inside the cabinet main body 12; light sources 38 placed inside the cabinet main body 12 and shining light of wavelengths suitable for cultivation of plants; and a photocatalytic layer 20 that is at least formed on the inside wall surfaces of the cabinet main body 12 and exhibits a photocatalytic function for light in the wavelengths of the light sources. The light sources 38 are LED lights mainly shining visible light that includes wavelengths of 440 - 470 nm, and the photocatalytic layer 20 is an applied layer of titanium oxide photocatalyst that exhibits photocatalytic function for light at wavelengths of 0 - 540 nm.
