Abstract:
A preservative composition of the present invention comprises 1,2-hexanediol, caprylyl glycol, butylene glycol, pentylene glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, a rooibos extract, a licorice extract, a myrrh extract, a Perilla
frutescens extract, and a yucca extract. The preservative composition for cosmetics of the present invention prevents cosmetics from becoming rancid and is not harmful or toxic, thereby making it possible to produce cosmetics without skin irritation and with excellent moisture retention.
