Abstract:
Press belts (11; 21; 31; 41; 51; 61; 71; 81) used for press-treating a band-shaped material and a shoe press device using the belts, the press belts endlessly formed of an elastic material characterized in that a thickness gradually decreases starting at pressurizing area center parts (C1; C2; C3; C4; C5; C6; C7) toward pressurizing area end parts (A1, A1'; A2, A2'; A3, A3'; A4, A4'; A5, A5'; A6, A6'; A7, A7'); the shoe press device comprising at least the press belts, a pressurizing shoe (82) for applying a pressure to the press belts, and a pressure regulating means (83) for regulating the pressure of the pressurizing shoe, whereby a uniform pressure can be applied to the band-like material to be pressurized.
