Abstract:
The present invention relates to a press device having improved power saving and safety, comprising: an upward driving part provided at a frame, and connected to an upper press so as to move the upper press upward when power is applied, such that the initial state thereof is maintained; a raising/lowering driving part provided at the frame, and connected to the upper press so as to raise/lower the upper press within a raising/lowering stroke distance; and a press driving part provided at the frame, and pressing a pusher downward so as to machine a material when the upper press is completely lowered by the raising/lowering driving part such that the lower end of the pusher is supported by the upper end of a hitting part of the upper press. Therefore, vertical stroke transferring, which has a relatively large stroke distance from an initial position, at which the upper press is raised, to a lowered position right before the material is machined, is performed by the low-output raising/lowering driving part, thereby preventing an accident, and material machining only at a small vertical stroke transferring distance, in which the body of an operator cannot enter, is performed by the high-output press driving part. Therefore, most of the raising/lowering stroke of the upper press is performed by the low-output raising/lowering driving part, and the very small stroke for material machining is performed by the high-output press driving part, such that power consumption is minimized. In addition, while a press motor is rotated at a relatively large angle of 360°, the pusher is raised/lowered only at a minimum distance for pressing the material, such that material pressing force is maximized.
