Abstract:

This press-fit joining device (100) is configured in such a way that two collet chuck-type electrodes (a first collet chuck-type electrode (160) and a second collet chuck type-electrode (170)) are retained using a die-set structure (130) and sub-platen structure (140). Adopting this press-fit joining device (100) makes it possible to manufacture products (such as products in which it is required that a large and uniform current be conducted to the joint portion, for example driving-force transmission components) requiring a greater degree of coaxiality and higher joint strength than in the prior art.
