Abstract:
The present invention relates to a press fit terminal that can reduce an insertion force required when the press fit terminal is inserted into a hole of a printed circuit board and can be stably fixed in a state in which the press fit terminal is inserted into the hole of the printed circuit board. The press fit terminal comprises: a pin terminal; a contact part provided on an end portion of the pin terminal and having a through-hole formed therthrough; a torsion bar formed in the through-hole to support the contact part; and a guide protruding from the contact part. In this case, the torsion bar connects first and second inner walls of the through-hole while passing through the center of the through-hole, and is disposed to be inclined in the through-hole. That is, the torsion bar is disposed to be inclined in the left and right directions so as to connect the upper end of the first inner wall and the lower end of the second inner wall and is disposed to be inclined in the front and rear directions so as to connect the front end of the first inner wall and the rear end of the second inner wall.
